About Chev & Co.
Chev & Co. started with our cat, Chev.
There’s a portrait of him in our home that we see every single day. Sometimes I catch it out of the corner of my eye and smile, because it looks so much like him - the expression, the pose, the little details that made him ours.
That feeling is what Chev & Co. is built on.
We create custom pet portrait keepsakes for the pets we adore, and the ones we never forget. We’re a small Australian studio run by a husband-and-wife team, working with pet owners around the world to turn photos of their animals into portraits that feel personal and familiar.
A good portrait shouldn’t just look like your pet. It should feel like them.
The way they sit. The look they give you when they want dinner. The personality that makes you say, yep, that’s them.

The words behind the portraits
Alongside portraits, Chev & Co. also offers something a little different.
I’m Hayley, and I’m the writer here.
Writing is how I process things. After Chev passed, writing about him helped me hold onto memories I didn’t want to lose. It turned grief into remembering.
Some people know exactly how they feel about their pets but struggle to put it into words. If you want something written to sit beside your portrait - a short love letter, a memory, a reflection - I can help shape that into something that sounds like you.
A portrait shows what you see. Words hold onto what you feel.
Pets become part of the fabric of your life
They have their spots in the house. Their routines. Their strange little habits that somehow become normal. And when you look back, it’s those everyday details that matter most.
Chev & Co. exists to capture that.
Every portrait we create is made to be lived with - something you can hang in your home and recognise instantly. A keepsake for now, and for later.
For the pets curled up beside you.
And for the ones you carry with you.
Chev & Co. turns that everyday love into something you can hold onto, a portrait that feels like remembering.
If you’d like one created for your pet, we’d love to hear their story.
